It is home to 1200 SF house was designed by Slade pixels Architecture, located in Heyri, South Korea. This house is for a young family with two children. They are very interested in the community and plan on sharing their outdoor spaces with the community. They intend to create daycare for neighborhood children. The site is perfectly suited to the client's intentions, the last house in a row of houses. This is the breaking point between the front and backyard space clear, the point that the facade follows the line ends. Public and private lands are not as clear as in other places on the line.
While public and private spaces are ambiguous, the end condition is when the relationship between the building and the landscape is clearer. The entire row of houses can be read as an object relations / field between the building and landscape. This contrast between formal clarity and ambiguity of the territories requires a very different strategy from that of filling the suffering, particularly because the customer is interested in cutting down the public-private opposition.
The architect has moved away from the line in chunks, rather than a simple extension of the line of "wall" at the bottom of the page. Location of the main house at the west end of the site allows the passage between the front and back and make an open space on the street in the depth of the house. Separate the volume of the main house allows us to play with the relationship between landscape and building. Smooth and rounded to be somewhere between the rigid geometry of the orthogonal line and smooth contours of the landscape, the main volume is difficult to categorize.
In this micro-shaped natural state of conflict and the condition is still orthogonal to the master plan developed for the selection of materials. Using a simple orthogonal bricks, the smooth shape is digitized into separate units. This tension-shaped tectonic big and smooth power of the individual bricks in the house of the individual and the parallel line and between buildings, described by the master, and the hilly landscape.
The bricks also provide a very real sense of scale and manufacturing, the transformation from abstract to reality, manifested in the grain and the inability to "zoom in" beyond a certain scale. The number of pixels determines the sharpness of a digital image, the sweetness of the house is determined by the brick module, the result is a house of 9675 pixels (1 pixel = 1 brick).
The piece middle of the house, phase two, occupies the back yard, as defined in the plan. By placing it in the area of this part of the building occupies the back yard semi-private, but is available directly from the front yard. It invites the Community to share this space by removing the house number. The owner intends to use this space as a community center during the day and within the private home at night and on weekends. Building on the opposite cycles between user space education and housing do double work.
