Seattle at last....

In Seattle...

So we finally made it to Seattle and we are staying at the home of Tiberio Simone, author of La Figa, visions of food and form.. He is not only one of the nicest people I have ever met but also one of the best Chefs I have ever had the pleasure of sampling food from. When we arrived at Seattle Tacoma International airport and he picked us up, instantly he was natural, down to earth and you could feel his good vibe.

Seattle is as I expected, clean, nice, and great weather. (well not hot and humid ike Florioda where it feels 100 every day of the summer months.. Its nice to be in a place where houses look like cottages, people are very friendly, and Tiberio's house is not only splendid but has a magic almost like feel about, instantly making you feel at ease and comfortable, and that before he served us some food to munch on. It was absolutely to die for.. Amazing as was the wine we drank and he so hospitable it makes you feel like your at home.

Its 3:28 AM out here on the West Coast and I can hardly wait to explore this beautiful neighborhood in the morning. By looking outside the living room window I see Tiberoio's natural gardens, where he grows tomatoes, and just about every other exotic vegetable and herb imaginable. A remarkable person all the way around and a great place to start our trip to Seattle.

So far Jessica is batting 1,000 with first her choice of a trip, second her choice of an airline, and third a place to start our trip.. The home of Tiberio Simone, perhaps the best cook (Chef) and a man of many talents, I have ever met...
