I found these two homes on some blog postings I happen to be reading and I felt that they should be shared since the design and interior decoration is quite intersting... And popped out at me and these days something has to have a unique feel and look to popout at me.. so here you go..

Modern Contemporary House by Gudmundur Jonsson in Iceland
This Modern Contemporary House was designed by Gudmundur Jonsson in rural Iceland. The main purpose of this house is to capture all the beautiful scenery around in all directions: southward view of the sea and islands north of the typical triangular mountains, glaciers to the east and west River and valley. Exterior glazing consists of a large wood, bricks and natural stone. What makes the house blend better with the site. Interior done in a minimalist style and modern. Simple form right angles, lighting and integrated natural materials.
I absolutely love the concrete floor staircase and the wood wall.. Amazing
Modern Luxury Valley Home Design in Brno, Czech Republic
This three-level house level, on the outskirts of Brno, Czech Republic, is a playground for modern luxury in a serene country setting. Designed by the architectural firm Orak, this hillside house is situated on a slope with endless vistas of wooded hills stretching to the horizon. Each level has its own character, different from the rest, for a whole new living experience unique. Each room offers breathtaking views over the valley. The first three levels, the basement is a haven of relaxation and rejuvenation, with sauna, sparkling pool, a snooker table and a walk-out garden. One floor above the level floor includes an entrance hall that leads to devastating kitchen, lounge and dining room. A stone staircase leads you upstairs, where the private sector nestled away on the third level, you will find the bedrooms, a quiet life indeed.
