Contemporary Decorative Transparency Stylish Glass Door Design by Casali
I have always been fascinated by glass doors because they have a double nature:they separate, close, and contain a physical internal space, and at the same time communicate, open and unify two physical, but also contextual spaces. I have always loved glass’s transparency, its ability to make LIGHT and the geography of emotions.
As for doors, I have always loved their symbolic value, representing a PASSAGE from the known world to the new world, to fantasy, emotions, and spirituality. When I design my doors, in the live matter of glass I find the way to leave a mark, to trace signs of life and bring in what is outside, to unite with transparency and light. A unique personality, by nature.Aristotle said there is something wonderful in all natural things. I find that wonder in every tree, in every blade of grass that leaves its unique and individual mark on the horizon and on my imagination.

Modest Single Family Homes Design by Arch11: Aurora Seven Houses
Modest Single Family Homes
Modest Single Family Homes Design and decorating by Arch11. Conceived and built with boat-like precision, the Aurora Seven houses an owner-occupied modernist apartment and three modest market rate, apartments inserted into a neighborhood of modest single family homes. This allows mixed income integration into an otherwise upper income neighborhood. The structure reuses an extant foundation while integrating a modern Structural Insulated Panel (SIP) structure. The Aurora 7 Building is energy-independent, with a geothermal ground loop system for heating and cooling and photovoltaic panels for electrical generation. All of the interior finishes are green building compliant, sustainably harvested materials. Further, reflective membranes and planted green roof technologies reflect heat avoiding contribution to the urban heat sink while lowering the building’s carbon footprint.
